Today we went to watch the Gillway Boys under 11’s play against Lichfield Silvers under 11’s. Before the game Evie, the Boys and their coaches handed over the cheque for £457 to Lisa from the Donna Louise Children’s Hospice. This was captured by Michelle Martin of Visual Voice Media, who came along to take the Photo for us. We stayed to watch the game and although the score didn’t go their way they had a great game. Paddy our nephew and one of Tommy’s cousins usually plays for the team but he wasn’t able to play today as he is currently injured with a broken toe. The Team raised the whopping £457 by donating all the proceeds from their presentation night back in June and kindly offered to donate to Tommy’s Starlight fund. We would like to say a huge Thank you to Lisa for coming to collect the Cheque, Michelle Martin for coming to take the Pictures and to the whole Team, Coaches, Parents and everyone who donated to this total, it really means a lot to us and thanks to you we can go on helping the hospice to help other familys but most of all to keep the memory of our little man Tommy alive.
